LPN/RN Long Term Care - Long Term Care
Full Time Days
JOB SUMMARY:
Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of residents within the facility setting with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and within the LPN scope of practice. May act as Charge Nurse utilizing the nursing process and delegation skills to prioritize and oversee all resident care delivered within the LPN scope of practice during assigned shift while maintaining recognized nursing standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience
Graduate of an accredited licensed practical nursing program
Previous LPN experience in a Long Term Care setting preferred
Certificates, Licensure, Registrations
Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the State of Nebraska
Basic Life Support (BLS)

Ability to write reports and correspondence

Ability to work with skill in identifying problems; making frequent decisions regarding method of performance
