Radiologic Technologist PRN
PRN-Contract

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs routine technical work in the laboratory and radiology department under the direction of the Director of Ancillary as well as performs other clerical duties. Collects, processes, and distributes patient specimens for testing. Provides expert diagnostic radiological imaging and patient care to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, health care providers and customers in and outside the radiology department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations
Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R) (CT)
Licensed by the State of Nebraska as a Medical Radiographer
Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred (must be able to obtain within 6 months of hire)

Ability to calculate figures, add, subtract, multiply, and divide

Ability to write reports and correspondence
Ability to effectively present information to patients, families, employees, health care providers, etc�
Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively to maintain good working relationships
Ability to work with skill in identifying problems; making frequent decisions regarding method of performance
